The spacious double room at Southsea Stays was perfect for me as a solo traveler. It had all the amenities I needed, including a washing machine and a tea and coffee maker. The shared bathroom with a walk-in shower and bath was clean and convenient.
Personally, I didn't find the presence of a wardrobe in the room necessary. But hey, others might find it useful, so it's just my personal preference.

The nearest airport is conveniently located! Who doesn't love being close to an airport? And don't get me started on the amazing Eastney Beach, just a stone's throw away, perfect for leisurely swims with seagulls.
Oh, and let's not forget the delightful surprise of not being able to control the heating in my room. It was an exciting game of "Will I Freeze or Melt?

I gotta say, I got a lot of bang for my buck at this place. Great value for money and the room was super cozy and well-furnished. The location was spot-on, close to shops and bars, and an easy walk to the seafront. Plus, the staff were really friendly and helpful.
Food for breakfast could use a little improvement, but overall, not a big deal.
